From the Wayans Brothers - The Funniest Dance Movie of All Time

Shawn Wayans (Written by, Producer) made his acting debut in 1989 in his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans’ feature film "I’m Gonna Git You Sucka." Immediately following his feature film debut, Wayans joined the cast of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series "In Living Color."

Most recently, Wayans starred in the box office hits "Little Man" and "White Chicks," both of which he co-wrote and co-executive produced. He began co-writing his string of blockbusters with the smash hit "Scary Movie," in which he played Ray, an ambiguously gay football jock, alongside his brother Marlon and under the direction of Keenen Ivory Wayans. The Wayans trio went on to create "Scary Movie 2," in which he also starred.

Other past film credits include the hit comedy "Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood," which he co-wrote, executive produced and starred in with Marlon. The movie was a comic spoof of the coming-of-age-in-the-‘hood movies and is still a huge cult favorite.

"The Wayans Bros." sitcom, which Wayans created and starred in with Marlon, was the first WB show to be sold into syndication after heading up the WB network lineup for five years. Along with his brothers and sisters, Wayans created "The Boo Crew" (formerly "Thugaboo") animated specials for Nickelodeon, which take a humorous look at the trials and tribulations of nine inner-city kids. In addition to producing the specials, Wayans also serves as writer/director and voices the lead character. TheBooCrew.com launched in early 2009 and plans are underway to turn The Boo Crew into a daily comic strip. When not on the road performing stand-up, Wayans can be found hard at work in the "lab" where he and his brothers are busy concocting their next project.
